in less important news, the lineup for ACL ‘08 was announced today. it’s short of amazing but a damn solid lineup. at the very least it stands out from most of the our major festivals this year, as jack johnson is NOT headlining (or playing at all). http://austincitylimits.com
finally—i’ve got to inject some of my personal music flavor in here—steely dan has announced a 2008 tour (http://steelydan.com). unfortunately they don’t seem to be coming to my city of residence, LA, but otherwise this would be personally exciting. if you prefer inventive chord changes and sardonic lyrical content to raw live vibe (speaking of which—-that liars song sucks!), check them out.
